Based on above review one could come to a following conclusion on what is require to make the site more mobile friendly

  1. The mobile version should be GUI based rather than couple of buttons like symbios
  2. It should be more ECommerce site rather than a brand site
  3. Mobile site must have minimum clicks or details to enter as people avoid filling in details
  4. Logo or branding should be predominant
  5. Shopping cart and personal profile should be well place
  6. Dont place big banners to cover main space
  7. Search bar should be right under the logo
  8. Try to develop a separate mobile site rather than responsive – sometime it doesnt work.
  9.  Do not run popups and it will not work in most of the cases
  10. Creative, Convenience, Compact is all what needed for mobile.

Mobile Internet Retailing is vital and it should be done big way. This mobile site can also become DISPLAY KIOSK so while developing the site one has to consider multiple mobile avenues like Smart Phone, Instore Kiosk, Large Display and more.
